Aluminum Foil when exposed to an alternating electromagnetic field at high controlled frequencies heats the foil to a high temperature. Heat-sealing adhesive, plastic film is laminated onto ALU-Foil. Circular wad of such a laminate is placed on the mouth of the container to be sealed and is held in position by a non metallic screw cap or a suitable lid. The container is then placed such that its ALU-Foil is exposed to the Electro magnetic field of the induction heat power applicator. The heating of the foil softens, melts the adhesive, Plastic film laminated on it. When the exposure is removed the foil cools along with the adhesive, plastic film forming a bond with the contact surface.
The exposure time can vary from a fraction of a second to a few seconds, to complete the bonding of the foil on the bottle, jar mouth.
